WHO CARES IF WE TYPE IN CAPITALS OR LOWER CASE AS LONG AS POSTS ARE POLITE AND NOT OFFENSIVE I DON'T GIVE A JOT. DICTATING WHO MAY USE THEM IS NOT A POLITE POST AS FAR AS I AM CONCERNED.

On the other hand - older people who are novices at posting on the internet aren't aware of netiquette.

A gentle explanation (whilst acknowledging the need for some folk to post in capitals) can work wonders.
