To Curry favour

I saw the above phrase on a thread very recently and thought that it may have been to do with Indian or Asian food.

As I could not see this particular recipe in any of my cookery books, I thought that I would have a bash at making it from scratch

Take one large Fawning, then spice well with flattery.

Flattery is a unique combination of blandishments and hyperbole and is suited to most people’s tastes.

Add a smidgin of righteous praise and a dash of utter balderdash.

Stir with a sycophant.

Leave to marinate for at least two days, and then serve thickly (the thicker the better) on toast.

Bullying

In the same thread bullying once again reared its head and was invoked to the Great God of all who can’t have their own way.

Whilst I can’t comment on the context of the word bully in the thread, I believe that I am being bullied on a daily basis.

I am so convinced of this that I am going to Report Main Roads Western Australia to the Ombudsman for constantly harrying me.

Even their traffic lights are always against me!

:-D

Ann, as this is a new recipe it does tend to ooze everywhere. I haven't found out how to control it yet, nor, I suspect, will anyone else.

Sue, contentious? Moi?...oh sorry, that was pretentious.

Muffy I will take your suggestions on board when I next attemp to make the dish
