I personally believe that Ian Brady will be dead in a very short time after watching the documentary on him.

I have no idea at all how he has managed to square what HE has done for the past 40 odd years...for my own part I can square my feeling towards a sadistic child killer very easily..keep shoving those tubes down his nose and making him do what he doesn't want to I say....

I'm sorry Hayley, I shouldn't have risen to the bait but I felt that Sylvia saying

was despicable.. the hate expressed towards Brady and the wish that he knows pain may not be pleasant...but it is just words directed at an evil man... his hate was directed in actions against innocent children.
And that is the difference.

My view, which I don't feel is especially evil, is that whilst I don't really like the fact that continued publicity may give him some feeling of control, I do think it is valid, because without it the general public would not be able to see what kind of people are 'apparently ' qualified to become involved in his care; would not be able to judge the success or failure of parts of the prison/judicial system. Would not be made aware that a psychopath of his type is still able to manipulate people.

Very true Sylvia, very true...I generally find that reading the first post is enough to alert me to the topic though, and if it is one I have no interest in at all, then I don't bother to read further :-D

When I clicked on the thread Rose I did not know it was about him , his name is not in the title ...

If that's the case Sylvia, I can't quite understand why you were prompted to look at, and are commenting on, a thread about him.

My view on him and what should happen to him Rose?? I dont even think about him ..he deserves none of my time and I have no intention of even thinking of an end for him .

(what i heard will haunt me forever)
years later i read the trial transcripts
then a book by one of the police officers investigating the case
and seen various documentaries

if it wasn't for his brother in law how many more innocent children would have died the same way

and yet its us that's evil lol
he deserves no compassion none at all :-(

No one on here has murdered a child Sylvia, not one person here has kept someone on the rack for 50 years....and I dare say for all the real anger that makes people vicious in what they would like Brady to suffer for his abominable crimes, very few would actually harm him themselves if push came to shove.

But do give us your comments on the programme, and what YOU would like to happen to Brady, now or in the future, I am sure we would all benefit greatly as human beings to hear an alternative view..
