Well Ann, if what I heard last night was "Well Controlled" Heaven knows what it must be like if uncontrolled. :-S

Actually the audience for this one were quite well controlled and did stop screaming for most of the singing and comments, unlike BGT and X Factor.

For the first time I ventured to see some of it, Well, firstly the Compare/Announcer was almost screaming down the Mike like a Bannashee (Must have forgotten she had one or was practicing to be a Town Crier) then whenever some one started to sing the Audience all seemed to have the Screeming Abdabs and they could,nt be heard above all that racket,so I switched over vowing never to watch anything like it again. :-S :-S

Well done Ben, all did well, a fantastic final.

Meant to say too. Mel sang well, she has a powerful voice, just right for that part.

I thought there was not a lot to choose between Ben and Rory finally, and it was a well deserved win. And Gethsemane, they all sang it well. I am sure they will all go on to do well. And ALW even said he'd work with Nathan too.

But a great finale and wasn't it nice to see all the others come on at the end, they did seem a nice group.

dawn french is cheesy and anoying,

I thought Nathan, the one who was criticised wasn't right for the part anyway,

But as well as the confidence thing he had tweeted to the effect of 'vote for me and then you'll get to see me naked' just a bit immature, but didn't do him any favours as I am sure as well as the crown of thorns pic ( not his fault apparently) it all went back to ALW, who no doubt wants whoever is chosen to take it seriously. ALW probably shouldn't have laid into him live, but he's human and has a temper, and maybe he just 'snapped' a bit lol.

Yes he was criticized but it was not so much being over confident as unable to take direction. And when he was in a team he was not a team player. See my comments re Twitter Ann it is the same one.

Dawn french is aggravating but I think she was put there to lighten it a bit, she does go over the top but is easily ignored.

I've not watched it by my friend has been an avid viewer until this week - she says Dawn French is too over the top and was upset when one of the contestants was criticised for being "over confident" - would have thought that would a required "fault" to be in a West End production

she says she can't watch it any more

Chris Moyles is on the cast list so I bet the back stage area will be a good laugh

I liked it that ALW said he felt so lucky because any one of last night's four could have played Jesus and he wouldn't have a problem with any of them. It is now immaterial that the public votes for their favourite as they are all equally good and equally able to play the part. I think Nathan rather cooked his goose by being arrogant enough to tweet with a picture of himself wearing a crown of thorns, not a good idea, although I suspect Andrew would have saved Roger that night anyway as he likes the fact that he is strong and has proved he can survive the stress of back to back shows.

I have a feeling that Rory will win but I like them all. I also am convinced that ALW will find a part for David who I also liked a lot.

So looking forward to the final tonight, and though I've liked
Roger,Rory and Ben and found it difficult to choose between
them I hope Ben wins through as he has stood out for me the
most to play the part of Jesus.
