How may times has anyone ever had to use a different wed address to access a web site that they subscribe to or had to go to FB to find what is happening on such sites

I have been a member on Ancestry and several other such sites for the last 7 years and never had to do any of this when they have a problem

it just shows how GR hold their membership in contempt once they have you registered on this site and it appears they are simply not bothered

Thank you for that Island and Bob, I would never have worked that one out by myself ! I will give it a go. Is anyone else having trouble accessing their old tree or is it hit and miss like everything else at the moment ? M

There are quite a number of GR members who don't belong to Facebook as has been mentioned forcefully on a number of occasions.

Morning All
I don't belong to Facebook, either.

Yes but at least by making announcements on FB the message gets to some members - dammed if they do, dammed if they don't :-\
Wisechild, I've noticed that most of those who complain here about GR using FB actually have an FB account themselves. :-S

Morning Julia.
I've never seen you complaining about FB either :-D

Good morning :-) For those who are wondering, I deleted my 'inane ramblings' post myself. Nothing to do with the self-appointed moderator who's on here 24/7 ;-)

Oh Island, you know what my answer would be to that, but, it would be unprintable on here, and I would get a lifetimes ban LOLOL
