On what I posted yesterday which got me a warning from Abuse ?

Bit shocked to find the GR email this morning. :-0

Bit angry as I dont post much now, it would help if GR at least sent a copy of what was deemed unsuitable enough for removal with their warning.

If it was something rude then I know it wouldn't be that rude if I put it on here ;-)
and TBH I've seen really-rude-for-this-site posts stay.

Got to be itchy finger syndrome again...you can get cream for that I believe :-D

I would not worry about it. Lots of people RRd for no reason I believe so you were in good company. :-D

Dunno Mildred, there appears to be no reason for some posts to be RRd. It's invariably not the post but the poster *waits for this to go whoosh*

I didn't see your post, so can't give an honest opinion.
However, it would seem that anyhth.ng at the moment is against the T & C's. Any letter you may or may not receive does not tell you exactly what was the offending remark.
However, it is more down to the 'itchy fingered one', who can do this, just because they can.
What thread was it on.

Mildred, the other day, someone, think it was Mersey but that is not important, posted that she was getting threads from 2004, on her screen. Perhaps someone else did also, and didn't like what they saw.
Just a thought.

So..to the RR .if you are reading this, and I suspect you are.

I've now replied to the GR team,after they sent me details of what was removed explaining that you deliberately sought out an old joke of mine from 2004 - EIGHT YEARS AGO to report. It takes some searching to trawl up threads from that far back. :-

I have asked GR to look into it because the reporting is malicious & deliberate :-|

I have also said yet again, free members shouldn't have the luxury of reporting items on the boards which they dont pay to use ;-)

I totally agree with you re. the free members.
But, I would also like to mention the people that have second and more accounts. They say they have left GR on their first account but use their others to do all the 'itchy fingering'. Should not be allowed, as it causes alot of unpleasentness. They keep secondary accounts solely for this purpose.

Hmmm, seems you may have had an opinion about a certain person and this is retaliation Mildred.

As Sue said, it's nothing to do with the content of the post...it's who posted it.

Proof was seen the other day, when several of us on one thread were RR'd...ok one of my posts that was RR'd was a bit harsh, but another simply said 'wanna bet?' while through the thread, Bobtanian was posting links to a porn site...which were NOT RR'd...because he's not one of the targets.

Just proves to me that the rr's aren't always read and are often just zapped without question...

It is upsetting Mildred but the GR emails are automatic - even the GR girls who came to the London meet said to ignore them - easily said when you're not the one being targetted.

2004 is just preposterous!!! Maybe someone picking an old thread up on the home page?

It was one of my *types of bottom burp* funnies, which the genes team also used to laugh at before they reluctantly stopped them some time later, as there were a minority who objected.

I'm very select about putting jokes on here ever since some years back I was suspended over cat jokes, and someone who wasn't even posting on the board that day saw it as a dig against themselves. :-(

Now I keep most jokes for FB :-D

I've also got to agree why near on pornographic content is ignored, and other stuff is reported as breaching t&cs.

It in the main, with genuine exceptions aside, often about the poster...but hasn't it always been ? :-|
