When 2 people were moving something heavy or awkward, Dad would take hold of one end / side and instead of saying "Lift"....it was always... 2...6. as the indication to take the weight. |

Roy, thats not a very nice saying " I'll swing for you". It made me laugh though as I haven't heard it for years. The sort of kind words which my father would have spoken to us as children with perhaps a teeny expletive in the middle.Happy days- not - jl |
