In Norfolk they call soft flat rolls BAPS, I believe they are similar to Lancashire Barm Cakes, otherwise as far as I am aware the rest of our bread is much the same as you have mentioned tho Fadge I have never heard of...looked it up in my new dictionary and is down as "agree" !!!! :-D

The word bloomers is not associated with bread here in Oz. They are strictly what our mothers and grandmothers wore.

Sliced and wrapped bread is a loaf. Long thin bread is a French loaf and big round loaves are sourdough bread and other specialities. Then we have bread rolls (for salad and other fillings), hamburger buns, hot dog rolls and of course, hot cross buns.
