Caz makes a good point.
Our childhood dog had a 'lady friend' or two and there was many a time my dad would retrieve him from the police station. - no microchipping in those days.

Is there a local radio station that would broadcast something for you? If someone finds him it'll be obvious he's a much-loved pet and not a stray so the chances are they'll report it to the police. Is he chipped? If so, any vet can find his home. I keep looking here to see if there's any news.

Awww, Jude, I'm so sorry to hear about Madoc, they're our babies aren't they. I hope you find him soon. Have you thought about making up a flyer (I think they're called) and sticking it in any local shops/on lamp posts.

Keeping my fingers crossed for you Jude. Is there a walk that Vic takes him regularly that he may have taken to look for you? Is he microchipped?

Jude if you haven't done so already...phone the council hotline and ask to speak to the dog warden.

Scarlett went missing on a Sunday evening and she was collected by the dog warden and put into the kennels overnight....in the vast majority of cases this is where they will be sooner or later..

I know it's so worrying but try not to panic... if I can be of any help at all regarding posting details on my facebook page or anything like that please just let me know.

Sending you strength and best wishes x
