I prefer to keep an open mind when reading the boards. I don't know about porkies, but,I agree, some folks seem to have misfortune after misfortune befall them. But then some folks like to read and commiserate with them. So, each to his own. Personally I like to keep my illnesses to myself, share with a favoured few, or deal with them in a humorous way. `And yes, I admit....I sometimes tell porkies. In fact I only drink Baileys at Christmas time :-D

And this is not a dig at anybody BCXX

Is somebody questioning how guitarists fall at my feet??

When I'm not tripping on them and falling on my face ... my feet, not the guitarists; them, I try to step around carefully.

Yes, I know, it may seem somewhat less than credible that one person could injure herself in so many and varied and frequent ways, but 'tis true, all true.

As are the No.1 guitarist's various sometimes life-threatening but always annoying little hospitalization episodes ...

I may aim to entertain, but it's true, all true!! %3B-%29

Janey I believe all you say but do so have to grin .it's the way you tell it !

Many times I think that can't be true, infact If Mother dear thread wasn't mine I doubt I would believe it :-D.

Even knowing that yes I know where you are coming from, but like Rose I give the benefit of doubt ...after all if you don't believe you can ignore

I've always suspected that at least one of the guitarists is actually 2nd trombonist...

After some reflection, and a run of unfortunate happenings affecting various family members & close friends, I came to the conclusion that some people really do live through some pretty bleak times.

There is of course no way of my knowing whether everything people post on the boards is strictly or even partially true, but I would rather be thought a fool than be a cynic so ....

From Fiona (age 28 and size 8) :-D

Personally I'd always rather give the benefit of the doubt, especially since seeing one or two posts questioning events that were known by all to be true, and easily proveable.

AnninGlos

AnninGlos Report 7 Jun 2011 21:51

I think you'd have to be very careful actually accusing anyone. Some people really do have hard lives. It would be hard to judge what is true and what is not on here. Don't forget a lot of people are known to others in 'real' life so would not get away with lying on here.

im not talking about funny stories or jokes which i love,im talking about serious issues, members post time and time again and every story is worse than the last, they must have very hard lives or they are attension seekers.i just wondered if any one else thought the same or was it just me.xx
