Ha,ha Merlin the Rascal. I was being ladylike, and remembering my manners, on a family site.
I already have an outfit to go with the Red Bovver Boots, and wore it last Sunday to the garden centre, for lunch.LOL
I have practically got an outfit to wear to the coat, but am working on it.LOL
Take care

Julia, you got your spelling wrong yet again, you should really have put an "I" instead of a "U". and that coat should go really well with your Red Bover Boots.**M**.:o)>.

I once bought a lovely red pair of sling back heeled sandals from the window of a charity shop, unworn they cost me £2. I wore them until I had to throw them out.

All weekend, when I passed a local charity shop, I saw this coat/mac, in the window, but could not get the OH to stop, or the shop was shut.
Yesterday morning as he was going up the town, and after giving him the size range, the OH called in the shop for me, but alas, he came back and said it was not my size.
Well, not to be thwarted, I thought i would go in and have a try on, myself. So in the afternoon I did just that.
I think it should be borne in mind that, although you are a particular size, not only can these sizes vary, but coats can be cut on the loose size, also.
I was determined that this coat should be mine. It had my name all over it.
Walla, yes it fit, .....just, but I rarely have a top coat buttoned up, so it was okey. It is one of those 'Dry as a Bone' coats, and is in a mustardy gold colour, and has a checked lining.
So I bought it. For the princely sum of £6. Wow, I was so pleased. I got a scarf to match it also from another place for £3. So double wow.
I am so pleased with myself. If the OH had bought me a priceless Mink, I would not be as pleased
They have given out rain for the end of the week, so guess what I will be wearing when I go to do my M*****son shop on Friday.
Moral of the story, keep an eye on those Charity Shops for a right royal bargain
