You are so lucky with the weather Jill, the showers here have been so heavy, with a little sun in between. I have managed to lose your blog addy, perhaps you could send it to me again. Love to look at your cards so much inspiration. Love looking at Anns blog as well some lovely cards, scrapbooking pages and jewellery and Heathers new blog has some lovely cards and jewellery. Will be great if you can get some classes set up again it must be lovely to craft in a group and learn and chat at the same time. Gets boring watching crafting on tv for inspiration!!

Evening ladies what a miserable week it has been with all the rain and hail but at least we had some sunshine. Thought we should be getting nice light April showers not the torrential stuff we have been getting. Hope you all received the emails about the birthday cards received, no more birthdays now till June.
Hope Sylvia is OK seems a while since we heard from her.

Have a lovely weekend everyone.

I have just welcomed you back on the Greaders thread Jill, but I will say it again. Your new home sounds idyllic, I am very envious, especially being near the beach and in what sounds like a 'real' village.
You will have to change your name to 'Jill in the I.O.M.'!

Helloooooo, Taken me ages to get back on here today but have found you all:0)
Hope you are all keeping well and still busy carding plus hope no one has started their Christmas cards yet !!!
Building work nearly finished and very pleased with the transformation esp my new kitchen, which I love .
So far, no craft groups but did do my first craft fair and made £60 selling cards, bookmarks, and friendly Plastic earrings and pendants.
Loving village life and lots to do plus only a short walk to the beaches and 80 paces to a lovely pub that does great food.
Very lucky with our neighbours, he is a police dog handler so our Bailie fits in very well lol
I have even been offered a few hours with my old company, so extra craft spending money, all in all, everything has just fallen neatly in place.
xxx Jill, but not in France any more lol

Well, we had snow here all morning, quite heavy but then it turned to rain and continued to rain for the rest of the day. So very very windy and cold, have a large fire and still cannot get warm!! Hope the weather where you are is better!!

I am well stocked up with stamps now, hopefully will last a few months anyway. I thought they had capped the price of the large second class at 55p Jo, I'm sure I saw that in the D Mail today. Will need to check that out and make sure I don't make any decoupage cards.

Hi all,
A bit late but we are still having internet trouble otherwise I would have been on.
I read how your postage is going up - terrible.
We get a cheap rate some 6 weeks before Xmas and lasts until a date in January. If we want to use these stamps after the expiry date then you just have to add extra stamps. I usually try and find other things to post in that time! They don't look in the envelope!
These stamps can only be used at home and never abroad. Not so good for me, but I do use them where I can.
What wonderful weather, but it is coming to an end. Mind you, they could be wrong.
Today I went to the urologist and have an appointment with him for a cystoscopy next week. Somebody was handing out apples at the hospital t oday. I haven't eaten mine yet but Johan said they are very nice and sweet. They were also doing some neck massaging.
Still no news from Jill. Can you hear us Jill?????????????
Tomorrow our granddaughter is coming to eat with us. Well she is bring a Chinese meal in from the Chinese restaurant. Its always nice to see her. Her mother hasn't had her op yet and has a date for next week - Linda's birthday which isn't so nice for all of us.
My old help in the household is probably coming round to see us and my present help will be here too, so the house will be full.
Thinking of you all, love Sylvia xxx
