As my board name suggest, I live in Derbyshire, and wouldn't live anywhere else. I live in the same town as I was born in, the maternity home is now my vets, but have lived in more rural parts of the county, on a Scottish isle,Nottinghamshire, and in Oxfordshire.
I only have to go about 20 miles down the road, and I am in the Switzerland of the Peak, Matlock. Just a little further still, and I am on the Chatsworth estate, with all it's splendour and activities.
Only regret, wish they would make more of Derby as a city as they do with Nottingham, and that there was more fabric and knitting wool shops LOL
At the moment snowed in, like many in other counties.
