Wendy Lol!!!! Karaoke!!! *chuckles* that is my OH with his fingers in his ears. Ah no a separate room he needn't go in there then., he gets soooo embarrassed for those who participate. Not insinuating that he'd feel like that about your OH Wendy of course.

Wow!! All those different ways to fold a table napkin! I am impressed!!! Should I be???

As long as there are no quizes on board, or as long as theya re shut in a separate room. I would be no asset there!!

Now, having got the date for crew joining, I will need some idea of what people need in their cabins. How many pillows, duvet or blankets, Hmmm, water carafe? The fridge will be stocked with the drink of your choice, and i will make sure my passengers have the best towels and bathrobes available from store. Please also order the newspaper produced aboaed if you want a copy. Ships radio will keep you informed of the outside world. Now, have I forgotten anything? Please remind me and get your requests in early so I can get first pick at the ships stores.

Jean how thoughtful you are.
I would like 3 pillows, duvet (4 tog should do), water carafe, fridge must be well stocked with Baileys (original), grapes and cheese, oh and the odd fresh pineapple would be rather nice.
Now where did I leave my sunglasses?

Jean that reminds me I should book a cabin - all this organising I keep forgetting. I too would refer 3 pillows, duvet, soft drinks for me whiskey for OH, plenty of tea bags (me) coffee(OH) Don't want newspapers only the ships news unless UK is in weather freeze whilst we are warm - would like to hear that.

AnninGlos Report 2 Dec 2010 21:11

Oh thanks Jean, two pillows and duvet please and a memory mattress or mattress topper would be nice for my back. Fridge stocked with gin (and tonic) and whisky and also amaretto. Oh for OH cream sherry and 103 negra please and he'll have two pillows as well and duvet.

I must get myself a note book and take note of these requests or I will get them all wrong! There is a lot to think about as cabins will not have furnishings until the crew report for duty. We want everyone to enjoy themselves and then there will be more tips!

Cath2010 Report 3 Dec 2010 20:06

Jean, I would like some fresh flowers in my cabin please. Large tip in the offing if you can get freesias, yellow roses and blue iris. Many thanks,

So far Jean is the busy bee. Was thinking this afternoon about a Captain - could we have a Cary Grant (in his forties) lookalike or I would not object to Johnny Depp. He is a goodlooking lad even a grandma appreciates!!!

George Clooney might look good in uniform. Not many men signing up on this cruise, have we scared them off. Lol

Men needed badly - lots of ladies, all sizes and shapes, cheap booze, balmy breezes, relaxation, entertainment - what more do you gentlemen need?

Cath2010

Cath2010 Report 6 Dec 2010 22:01

OK guys so we don't all look like Sheryl Cole but what the hell. C'mon get packing.

I think this cruise is going to be a non-starter. Perhaps later in the winter after Christmas.

AnninGlos

AnninGlos Report 9 Dec 2010 10:07

Just a thought, maybe the title isn't attracting people. Maybe work the word cruise into the title?

Jean (Monmouth)

Jean (Monmouth) Report 9 Dec 2010 11:24

That would be a good idea Ann. the title doesnt really give a clue.

Boxing Day Wendy - changed title - this is the second time!!!!! We can change the date - what date would you all prefer?

Jean (Monmouth)

Jean (Monmouth) Report 9 Dec 2010 19:40

As long as I get adequate notice so I can join a fortnight before passengers I have no preference. Looking forward to trying out the beds in those cabins before they are allocated.

Sorry Chris I obviously didn't read the first entry properly. Leaving Boxing Day will be fine but I'm not sure what I am going to say to the twenty or so people who are expecting to come to our house for a new years eve party!!!
Don't forget to pick me up on the way PLEASE.
