Just heard on the news that three people were struck by lightning at Lowestoft air show today .

Frank ,how lovely for your son ,they must really think a lot of him to buy him a present like that ,poor Lewis i bet he talks his dad into sharing !!

What a present Frank !!!.They must appreciate him.I'm not surprised he won't share it with Lewis.It is his new boy's toy lol.

Sheila ,I'm glad you will be staying.Which bed will you be in tonight?I love having the odd night in the spare bed.I can spread out ,read ,watch tv,without disturbing Chris.

Mandy ,everyone has to take a secret Santa present,and everyone has to wear something Christmasy .I know the tree will be up and decorations.Poor James really didn't want to go ,but knows if he didn't he would get it in the neck from his girlfriend.Her mum is a bit wacky and to be honest not my cup of tea.I know that might sound awful but there was no way Chris and I were going to go.

Don't think the three people were badly hurt Jane, although it said on the news they had burns.

Talking about beds ,son said that one weekend would we have Jake stay over ,he has never been away from his mum and dad before , well Jake heard this and said could i ?

He then went on to say i will bring my bed and my wardrobe !!!!!
I don't know how long he thought he was coming for !!LOL

I remember having my sisters youngest to stay ,just for a day while they went somewhere.I think he was 3 and he screamed blue murder when they left.He ran around trying to get out to get to his Mum and Dad.I kept hold of him while Hannah went and locked all the doors lol.I think he yelled for a good hour or so,before he calmed down .I had such a headache lol.Bless him.He is 18 now.He is the one looking after all the animals while my sister is away.

I think there should be some more tonight ,but this cloud needs to clear or we won't see any

MEL saw today some men were painting yellow lines down the road
and saw a dead hedgehog and just painted a yellow line across its back rather than move the poor little thing thought that was awful there was a picture on the web.

Jane in spare foom again .I did a Ann last night I had a dream I was in a air baloon and was floating around somewhere and it suddenly came down and it landed in big red jelly. I woke Jasper was lying across my neck and could not move snoring so loud. I shall settle tonight used to it now may watch a bit of telly which my son left and read
before I go to It was nice a bit chilly though the rooms on the corner of the house and it gets the wind on it the blinds
were blowing being a lads room no curtains a bit drafty.
but is got a fridge also may take a midnight snack .

Oh a midnight feast.We will all come to yours then Sheila.I loved having a midnight feast.I would maybe have a friend to stay and we would clock watch,waiting for midnight lol.I don't think we lasted till then though .I sometimes wake in the night and come down for a biscuit That is my midnight feast these days.Chester never moves a muscle if I come downstairs in the middle of the night.He just opens an eye,gives a huff and goes back to sleep.He does the same when Hannah comes in at 4am.I wonder what he would do if it was a stranger in the night???(was that a song)?

I am off to bed now.My mind will be going like a whirlwind as I have just been sent a load of info on the Family name I am looking up.It seems there are 2 lots of Thomas and Ann.......so I will have to see if I can work out which is my lot lol

Damp ol' start to the day. Plenty of rain in the night, and forcast is bad till Tuesday.That will teach us to complain about no rain !!!!

Did you see that this weather is all due to the "GULF STREAM" Poor Russia, with their heat waves, Pakistan/China with all the Rain. We are lucky I suppose.

Lewis "SKYPED" us from France last night. had a chat, then the connection broke. Will try him later today.

No 2 son and DIL coming over this afternoon, Might book a table somewhere and take them out. They always seem to pay when we go out, so it will be a change for someone else to put their hand in their pocket!!!!! No food for a week make do with Bread and scrap.!!! LOL

Didn't go for a pint last night, was in bed by 10.30pm. listerened to the Radio, for a hour instead. If the weather holds out, I might go up the Club 12.30 for lunchtime match SPURS V MAN CITY. first match of the Prem.this year. It does come round quick.

Morning all,

Well its been dry here so far this morning but the clouds are now looking quite black overhead .
The Swimming pool has really been topped up with all the rain ,just taken the cover off to give it a good stir up so the salt machine can work better .

Sheila have you been flooded out any more? ,they're such heavy showers the gutters carn't cope it just pours over .

We're off to sons this afternoon ,he wants hubby to put some shelves up for him in their lounge ,he could do it really ,but he's says he hasn't got the right tools !!! just an excuse to get hubby to do it i think !!

Cor its black here now .........looks like it going to tip down !!
