I joined GR quite a few years ago intending to do my tree, but it only let me put me, mum and dad on my tree then refused to save anyone else, so I gave up. Got started properly in Jan 2008 and am loving it now - made some great contacts through GR and Ancestry.
I am seperated now with 2 fab teenager boys who are just the best company. I was a stay at home mum before the split and am now in the process of setting up a little business from home with a very close friend which I am thoroughly enjoying. I often watch the boards when I need a break during the day, or when the boys are at their dad's, and have even been known to make the odd little posting occasionally, but never really been brave enough to join in with chat properly!!
Someone waving a lovely bottle of Baileys around has given me the kick I needed and here I am!!

You can rest assured there will be no Calendar Girl style stripping off here - not a good look - would frighten way too many people!
One off my accounts girls used to call me doolally tap when I was pregnant the first time - haven't heard that for ages. I used to do that trick of walking out of the office to speak to someone and then just standing there in the middle of the room trying to remember who I was going to talk to
So I think I qualify to join!

I think I will stay well clear of any fighting over chocolate for the time being - is a very dangerous thing to do until you know how everyone will react. Will just watch and learn!
