Member Since: January 2009 Posts: 35 Send Message	This is my first posting, so I'll introduce myself. I'm Katie, in my mid 50's. I was born in Liverpool, but moved to Northamptonshire when I was 4 yrs old. I lived in Hastings for 10 years (1995-2005), before moving back to Northamptonshire, where I am now. I've got 4 children, eldest 34, youngest 21-(the only one still at home now). I've got 4 Grandchildren, 3 of them still live in Hastings, and my beautiful newest Grandchild was born 2 days ago to my eldest son (not literally, I mean my d-i-l). I've decided to join the boards for company in the evenings, and hope you bear with me whilst I learn the protocol and procedures. Hope you all don't mind, but for this evening, you're all "guinea pigs" I'll be testing my abilities on!! Happy chatting.

	Hello Katie W, welcome to the boards, My name is May and I live in a small village named Broadbottom, on the Cheshire/ Derbyshire border, born and bred in Manchester. Married, have two children, a daughter 53 this month and a son 42, granddaughter 34 next month, a grandson 11 later this month and a great granddaughter 8 going on 18. I don't post very often, but look in each day to keep up with what's going on , have got on well with my tree with welcome help from other Genes Members. Happy hunting,

I enjoyed 2 weeks' free membership last year, and took advantage of it to search my tree, and found the whereabouts of 3 cousins I'm now in touch with, that I knew about, but not where they are now, and we've been in constant touch with each other since, but havn't met in person yet. Maybe this year. Oh dear, this all seems to take me an age. You'll be fed up waiting for your replies!
