Uggers I should have said, to me personally hate of a person is a negative emotion. And I do speak from experience.

And that's why I hate a certain person, Lollipop - because of the ongoing hurt to people I love dearly.

well to hate plural, well i would need to address myself more closely to hate 1 person yes i do my ex , ive not reached the stage in my life where its turned to pity as he is still actively hatefull to someone i love dearly xx

I would agree with that Uggers - although the hate I felt for someone was not good for me. However we really don't have control over how we feel and fighting the feelings can be more damaging than going with the flow. I once hated someone who actually enjoyed my hatred and would provoke at any opportunity. Doesn't like it now because I've become indifferent.

Ann, I'm disagreeing with you again :) I don't think hate is necessarily a negative emotion - it can be but so can love if taken to its extreme lol. And hate of, for example, injustice, can make a man or woman achieve wonderful things.

No I can't hate anyone, I can be angry with them, dislike what they do, even hate what they do/have done, but I couldn't hate anyone enough to destroy them. I haven't got the energy for that. Hate is a very negative emotion.

......a wok Uggers.......blimmin wok..... make sure it is the flat end otherwise you won't get the impact.....

I think hate is like any other emotion, you don't have to act on it just cos you feel it - just cos someone fills me with such an overpowering feeling I want to smash them over the head with a wok, doesn't mean I do it.

Ok it was an extreme example, but I'm just trying to illustrate how damaging hate is.
