Same here with the washing Maz it was almost dry so it got 10 minutes in the dryer to finish it off. We have now got to sort out what to eat as we only fancied a sandwich earlier on.

Hi Maz, I have been sitting reading through and editing my script for the talk I am giving soon. I have now left off as my brain hurts :-D :-D :-D :-D. Do you claim a grant from your council? we do and they are always quite generous.

Yes and that you will be typical grandparents and spoil them when they visit you. ;-)

LaGooner Report 30 Jul 2023 19:03

We are still involved in helping out with them but that is getting less and less now.

There were 4 of us before they moved out. I had 2 empty rooms for a good while before we moved here. Typical though as you know we could have done with those recently :-|

We have only ever had 2 bedroom dwellings but then there has only been 3 of us. this house however when it was council, the permitted number was 6, yeah right.

LaGooner Report 30 Jul 2023 17:38

Ours was a large 3 bedroom and this is a small 2 bedroom :-0. We have got rid of loads of stuff but still need to thin out more. I am slowly either using up my craft stuff or giving it away but you can bet I will need to replace something I give away ;-)

ZZzzz Report 30 Jul 2023 17:30

Similar to us, the place we moved from was built in the 50s and is much bigger that this house, built 1981.

I have made samplers for all the grandchildren as they have come along. We could do with sorting out the walk in cupboard in our bedroom. We have loads of framed pictures in there which we cannot possibly fit it this house. The last house was so much bigger so we had all of them up on the walls

Aw that is a lovely thing to do.
We are gradually rid of things either to the dump or charity shop, I have said this many times but I wonder how such house can hold so much. when permission was granted for these houses to be built we think it was for 4 so they built 6. lol.

Some bits can be really fiddly but I enjoy that side of it. :-D. I can't wait to get started on the furnishings as that is my favourite bit. I have just fetched down my cross stitch stuff ready to start on a birth sampler for little man :-D :-D :-D
