morning all well we had a quiet evening last night seems everyone was too frightened to come out to play we also had hardly any police left here so it was a good excuse so we had a good walk about and found the river etc wolsingham is lovely its by the wear and it used to be a spa town .so its got lovely Tea shops .Today I am off to Dalton park Andrew is taking me we are meeting frog Andrew is looking for some trainers ,then he is off to a party overnight so I am coming back with frog we will have a quiet evening here .It is very muggy here already so we will be in the garden until late on i expect

HI all, very warm and sticky here to today. Off out very soon to buy a wedding present for a very good friend's son who is getting married today. My kids are going but I am not so a peaceful day after shops and rest up for tomorrow. I am on a very big 'Safari' event at Woburn Abbey with all the Guiding lot. There are over 2,000 girls going plus all the leaders etc. Don't be surprised you won't hear anything from me tomorrow I will probably fall asleep in the chair LOL

2,000 girls, God that will be noisy!! Having 2 or 3 nieces here at once drives me round the bend.

Freezing cold here. Drain unblocked. It took a couple of hours of hard work on the part of the plumber. Think I'll cross firemen off my list and put plumbers in their place. He said we were very lucky and the drain had been partially blocked for years. The cement was the last straw. So one problem solved. We had a storm Friday night. Result at daughter's house, one broken bathroom window. Poor dear, she can't win. Never mind. It is fixable and the painting is progressing. Yes still "progressing". OH is calling me his carer. I visit this house occasionally. He says to the dog. Oh look our carer is visiting again.

Our weather forecast planner is showing rain for the remainder of the month. They keep saying we need the water. I keep hoping the washing will dry quickly.

Hi Aunty, it is not I dislike laptops it is just that this poor old thing is getting past it's sell by date LOL.
Anyway must away to bed as I have a whole day out with the Brownie unit tomorrow.
