Helen, I do hope your Dad has had a restful night and there will be nothing serious found when the doctors run more tests. He sounds a fighter so I am sure he will fight back yet again to stay with you and his family.
Sending many positive thoughts, take care and stay hopeful,

Lizxx

My Dad got took into hospital this morning. He's 82. So when I finished work I had to go home and then go to the hospital to see how he was. He's had Angina for many many years and we almost lost him 25 1/2 years ago with a massive heart attack, (if he hadn't been at the hospital when it happened then he wouldn't be here today). Well he's been suffering with a few strong pains over the last few days and rang the Dr's this morning to make an appointment, he was to go tomorrow, but when my brother went down to see him, he'd had a couple of severe ones and had been coughing as well, and had brought some blood up. So he asked my brother to ring for an ambulance. They came and did a heart trace and said that he needed to go to the hospital to have a complete check over. Well they took him in and did a load of tests and X-rays, He had had a severe angina attack, but they also found a shadow on his lung as well and they are going to do some more tests. They are keeping him in and HOPEFULLY it is only an infection of some sort. The thing that is worrying is that we lost my Mum to lung cancer 8 years ago next month and that was the first thing that came to all our minds when they said there was a shadow on his lung. So please can I ask peeps to say a prayer for him tonight.

love
Helen
