I'm not so bad now the kids are away, a lot less to do.
I dont like putting it away either and I used to go nuts at my sons when I would put it on their bed, thinking they very least they can do is put it away ha ha
Half the time it ended up on the floor.....the devils would put it back in for washing...till I got wise lol.

Actually Marion, I do not mind ironing, it is the putting away I hate. Same with the shopping. Yes I could have done Debbies today, but can't t take it on tomorrow, as I have pile of my own. Every thing has to have a military crease down the front. The other day OH said he was down to his last tee shirt, so I told him, you know where Sainsbury's is. Actually four miles down the road. LOL

Oh Julia

Sorry to hear that

I bet you came out of the hospital disapointed, expecially when the hosp you needed to go to is not just up the road.

Good luck for next week

I'm afraid that my hospital appointment today with the Prof. was a victim of the 'left and right hand syndrome'.. He wanted to discuss the outcome of a Gastroscopy that I am having done NEXT Wednesday. So wasted 2 hourse, deisel for 30 miles, parking fees, and two expensive cups of coffee, so will have to go through with it all again.
Hi ho.

Good idea Marion

The bigger the pile the more depressing it is lol.
I do as little as I can by short spinning, use softener and try and get it outside.
When I bring it in I flatten it out and fold it ie sheets ,dish towels etc.
Shirts and Tshirts etc...they go on hangers on the rope. That way I get away without ironing some of them.
I always do the shirts though.

Thanks Marion for that

Well I never did get the plug in the socket today,

done my food shop come home looked at the pile again so I went back out LOL

Just got home again put the oven on just waiting for that to warm up to cook dinner. (I did not look at my ironing pile) then it has all come flooding back to me.

I will crack on with it in the morning ive got about 4 hours worth so think of me tomorrow :0)
