I hope you will hear from Rachel very soon, and that she's okay.

Dutch, I know what you mean when you say that the family don't tell you some things, because they don't want to worry you! Like you, if I can't get through to any of them, I worry all the more.

Try and rest as much as you can, and take care of yourself!

heard nothing as yet Rachel text her sister but ive been try all day ,but its on voice mail have sent flowers to her seeing shes not very well but my children have habit of not telling me anything,as they dont want to worry me,but i worry anyway,if i here anything will let you all no,and thank you all for being there for me

Morning all
heard nothing yet her boyfriend did say she was resting,but i cant get her on the phone thats what worrys me,im at the docters in weeks time i think ive pulled musle in my arm,did get some cream of docter but its not helping any,cant sleep thinking about Rachel,and yesterday phoned Danni my other g.daughter Rachesl sister and was bit worried about her had been trying since monday to get in touch final i did yesterday .ask her were she was monday she could,nt remeber so ask were she was tuesday she said i dont no i think i was doing the housework ,and then had shower shes only 20yrs old,it just seemed odd to me mybe im getting to old,i will let you all no when i here something but will only be pooping on and off the boards for few days,i need to get some sleep ,and thank you all for being there my friends

Hi Dutch, first thing I did was look for news of Rachel, guess you haven't heard anything yet. As you can see we are all thinking of her and waiting for news. Please let us know when you hear from her.

Perhaps.... grasping straws here Joyce... she may already be in hospital, but then surely her husband would have phoned you.

In the mean time love.... relax and don't get yourself in a state or you may end up in the bed next to her!

sorry for the delay but i cant get in touch with Rachel shes not answering her phone,and i dont no if the hospital gave her anything as her phone went of while she was talking to me,ive just rang her sister to see if she has any look,im worried sick about her but i will let you no as soon as i can get thru,she dos,nt have house phone only mobile

Dear Dutch, I agree, a DVT is not something to fool around with,
One query though, did they at least give her a blood thinner tablet to take, or an injection while there? I'd be heading back to the hospital if there is any question.

As you say Deanna, a DVT is very dangerous, even when not pregnant.
What on earth are the doctors doing! Dutch, I think if I were Rachel, I'd go back to the hospital, and tell them she want's to see another doctor.
If that doesn't work I'd go to A&E, to see what they have to say about it.

Sorry to keep on Dutch - but you sometimes have to be assertive with these people.

I agree Sallie, even with no children a DVT is very dangerous thing and needs immediate treatment.
I just do not understand it.

hi Joyce, can understand how worried you are, all the more reason to get yourself sorted out so you can go over if she needs you there eh?
Seems ridiculous that the hospital didn't keep her in for obs and to thin her blood a little or whatever is necessary. I bet she is like you and won't rest even if told to. I know it is hard for her with two other children.

I hope everything works out ok for her and little one hangs on a bit longer then makes her entrance.
