YE GODS AND LITTLE FISHIES

SYLVIA said, two pages back or so:

"That old pig that someone left needed lots doing to it."

I said, in reply to Sylvia:

"That old pig, Ms. Lady Sylvia?
Not referring to my thread, are we?
;) "

SYLVIA knew what I was talking about. I was talking TO SYLVIA.
I was talking about a thread of mine she'd been posting in, that might reasonably be referred to as an "old pig", trust me.

Sylvia replied to me:

"roflol you old canuck you!"

Somebody else had no clue what was going on and deleted all her posts because of it.

Why does this sort of numptiness have to happen????

As Sheriff, I decree:

If you don't understand what somebody has said to somebody else, LEAVE IT ALONE!!!

If you don't, you will find yourself in the stocks with no bonds, and definitely no Hugh Beringar.

haha! -- Hugh Beringer -- *Undersheriff*.

That's exactly what I need. An undersheriff.

VAT, coming up. Wonder how many of your groats it will take to get him over here, peasants.

Never mind trying to defend her, the slyboots! She had her wits about her. ;)

Speaking of which, has this burg got any lawyers? Strikes me there might be a need for a one ... there's always a need for lawyers.

Anybody else got a Law Lord in their tree? No? Just me then? Sigh, I'll just have to be it then.

Actually, I want to stay Sheriff. So I can make that Hugh fellow do my bidding.

Oh no, wrong BBC drama! That was Cadfael. Hugh Beringar, mmmmm.

Gotta go collect me some taxes so I can hire him over to this set. Deputy Sheriff, or maybe just Sheriff's consort, hm?

JaneyCanuck

JaneyCanuck Report 21 May 2009 00:54

SylviaInCanada

SylviaInCanada Report 21 May 2009 00:19

JaneyCanuck

JaneyCanuck Report 21 May 2009 00:16

Bonds! Bonds!

Bonds are me!

Oh, oops. Bonds were somebody else. Gonna have to fix that glitch.

JaneyCanuck

JaneyCanuck Report 21 May 2009 00:16

What? What?

SylviaInCanada

SylviaInCanada Report 21 May 2009 00:05

yep, we do

the stocks are on the village green over yonder

but you have to be very very very bad to be put in them.

bonds are to tie peple into the stocks so they won't run away with the stocks.

FannyByGaslight

FannyByGaslight Report 20 May 2009 23:57

If we do have stocks on here, can we have Bonds as well please?

I would ahve you know that I have been slaving away in the yard.

That old pig that someone left needed lots doing to it.

There's tripe and pig's trotters.

I did think of roasting the head with an apple in its mouth, but couldn't find a decent apple.

Pork chops and sides of bacon smoking

'tis hard to do this butcherin'
