Yes I tried with a a silly happy cow what ever they are called **sighs** BC my vistor has just left with her arms loaded up yawning her head off she is shattered so I have worn her out or just boring...lol

Dairylea doesn't melt very well Hayley...............but give it a try, failing that make some chips and use it as a dip!

*shocked....you not doing your usual takeaway tonight then?? lol Just pour the wine in a saucepan until it bubbles then shove in a wedge of camembert....yummy:-))

The oxo cube was for a whitish sauce to go with chicken and things...............my own recipe you know:))

I don't use wine in any sauces I make Hayley................the fumes make me tipsy.

Get a packet of Colemans Savoury White sauce mix and follow instructions.....

....get a lump of cheddar and grate it into the prepared mix......

I'm lazy.....

Oh.............and remember not to forget what sauce you are making and put in a chicken oxo cube!! *shudders at the memory*

I don't use white wine Hayley..........I like red:)))

Right....................Take some butter and melt it over a slow heat, then add some flour

Forget to stir it and bin the first batch

Start again and when the flour and butter have been cooking for a few seconds, pour in the milk and use a good whisk to get the lumps out.

Grate the cheese you forgot to grate and bin the second batch of sauce

Start again and when the sauce is almost bubbling add one tsp of English mustard and the cheese........DO NOT MOVE AWAY FROM THE COOKER AND KEEP STIRRING!!!!!!!!

When it has bubbled and thickened................scrape it out of the saucepan, avoiding the black bits on the bottom as they taste YUK!"!
