Good mornig all... finally got to my bed at 6:30pm... and got up an hour ago... I have slept solidly!!

Thank you everyone for your good wishes... Winnie has certainly made his presence felt, lolol But hopefully he will behave himself now and get on with his job, lolol

I couldn't walk all the way up the stairs in one go!! How pathetic is that, lolol!!

I have taken my first tablet, and now need to wait a bit before taking the rest..... otherwise they don't hang around long!!!!


The parade square looks as though it's a fishing pier... do you think they'd lend me the Popemobile so I could inspect closer???? Or even a golf thingy... the Ryder Cup is being held down the road so I am sure they'll have one spare................................

Right.... back off to lie down for half an hour while the tablet takes effect, lolol.... how lazy is that?

Good morning Daff and all:-) I have been trying to source one of those people carriers so you can inspect your Troop. The thing is...we will need at least four strong folk to lift it? I would volunteer but because of my age and nails and hair and stuff, it would not be fitting:-)

Sorry I am late reporting for duty, but I have been out drinking coffee in town with a 2nd cousin, once or twice removed - or something. Makes a change to actually chat about family history. (We even had the waitress chipping in with information about things.) We did find each other on here a few years ago.

It is a lovely day here. Hope the sun is shining on everyone.

Our Daff is on her way back to the hospital, her temp spiked and she needs to be admitted again. Only managing 24 hours at home isn't good enough is it? So all troops are to gather
their equipment and stand to attention until further instructions.

What a shame, I had so hoped she was going to be snuggling up in her own bed again tonight.
