Thanks for update Daff...
You always manage to sound so cheerful, even when you're telling it as it is.

I'm sure your army won't need any encouragement in preparing for a happy outcome party.... Just give them a nod and they will practise every day !

Not sure if I have gravy browning... Would Marmite be OK do you think?

Evening Ma'am.

Left, right, left, right. 'Shun.

I am here with my chit, for going AWOL, as I have been buying provisions, cleaning the house from top to the bottom, well, nearly finished. I have visitors over the weekend so I had to dig the fluff out of the corners.

Thanks for the explanation of the plan so far, which sounds very complicated, but I am sure the TMD knows just what you need. Just be kind to those poor trainees when you go back.

Have a relaxing weekend with Mr Daff and the felines, and sleep as much as you can. We will carry on planning the final return home party. I will do the sausages on sticks and the 'hedgehog' of cheese & pineapple on sticks.

Love to you, and all the troops.

Hello Daff, I hope you have a lovely weekend at home.
I will be ready for a party when you are (no spam sarnies) but I do like salmon rolls and quiche so I can do those and a lovely fresh bowl of salad.

Morning SM Daff

I hope you have had a restful night in your own bed, without the nurses checking on you all the time.

It is a glorious morning, the sun is rising in the lovely blue sky. (I have had to leave the kitchen blind down, as at this time of the morning the sun is streaming in and reflects off the working surfaces.)

I shall try to pop in over the weekend, but with visitors I may be busy. I already have this evening's dinner sorted and we are out for lunch tomorrow with extended family, so that is easy! Off to run the hoover round downstairs.

Love to all

Morning all.... beautiful autumnal morning here, with a clear sky enhanced by the odd wisp of cloud artistically draped here and there.

I haven't much planned... I think I shall slob out.... I want to sort out some photos, and take some of the berries on my erm red berry tree.... I do know it's name, but can't remember it!! I would like to use the photos on my Christmas cards.

Also, I have this Fuschia, and it looks so like Father Christmas, and there are always a few flowers on it Christmas Day... so I might see if I can take some nice ones of that. I love things that are topsy turvey and defy the norm, I do, lolol

R will have to move all the spiders from it first though..... don't want those on my Crimble cards, do I?

I feel a lot better today... I am going to try some toast in a mo, my chemo rash is going down and I am not as bright red now... and I am hungry!!! YEH!!

Have a lovely day everyone.... I am off for brekkie and then a little nap (just taken all the morning meds, they all make you sleepy!!)

Love

Hi Daff and troops ~~~~~~~~~~~

Sorry Daff but I just can't take this Christmas stuff - I just go blank when anyone mentions it before December. Still, the things you are talking about are less Christmas, more prolonging of summer so that's good.

I'm getting my party frock ready - I'm going to whizz over to the Strictly thread later to pinch some more sequins and feathers. I think we should dress up a bit - how about the 40's style to suit the gravy browning and spam sandwiches (sorry BC). All I need then is the 40's hairdo.

I hope you're resting plenty and looking after yourself.

Morning, Daff and troops,

Can someone tie BC down? I can see her bloomers and it's a bit early for that.

I am far too young to have any idea who Vera Lynn is or what BC is doing with that broom.

Morning Troops
Are you getting plenty of rest SM Daff?

I was at a county show yesterday and finally managed to get some very smart wellies. They are pink and blue a sort of tartan, they should go well with the pink cowboy hat !!! Oh and they have a small heel, just right for me as I don't wear heeled shoes.

Have a good Sunday everyone
