Linda, I am so sorry to hear you are not well its the most awful feeling , I do pray it will soon be sorted and you will feel much better <3 <3 <3 <3 Mo, I have been very busy ,so no time for frivolous stuff ....it takes a lot of effort sitting watching tele and having endless cups of tea, oh and a few biscuits ..... this wedding seems to be a big worry to you, a woman of your age shouldnt be upset you should be putting your feet up and have a couple or in your case three or four tots to keep you strenght up.....lol......or have you still promised the aa you will stay off the vino? :-P :-P :-P :-P :-P :-P <3 I am sure Caz will let us know how she went on, usually she is very tired after a visit to the hospital. but we can still keep her close .... <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 loves for Caz... Hi girls I'm a bit late todayI am so tired. It's difficult when your legs won't work and you have to make them. Well it seems I have to have some more chemo, starting next week. I am so tired I can't think straight so ai will put it down tomorrow when I can think. Can't walk now as I didn't take my wheelchair so my legs are letting me down and I'm falling so am off to bed. Sorry if this is all confused, it should be, my head is, also I am seeing double with this new set-up don't like it.

Linda, sorry to hear the labrynthitis is back, it is not nice, hope that you can get rid of it quickly.
Mo, how stressful for S to have problems with all the dresses. Hopefully the big bridesmaid's dresseswill turn up and she will have found something for the little ones today. did the shop promise them in time I wonder, if they did and they won't be ready I hope she presses for her money back. I think places like John Lewis and Debenhams still do bridesmaid type dresses, although with little ones party dresses would look pretty if they have them in the right colours.
I have missed Sylvia I think but I hope she has a nice, safe break.
Caz, have a good nights sleep and tell us all about it in the morning <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 It might help your eyes with these new colours if you take the brilliance down on your screen a bit, usually buttons on the bottom of the screen to do it.
Jean, busy busy, or watching the Olympics????

Since GR has changed things today I no longer have the Emoticons, I'll have to get in touch with them and hope that I can get them back.
Great news Jude. Congratulations. I bet both you and Vic are thrilled.
Caz, hope you manage to get a good nights sleep. You can let us know whats what tomorrow.....still thinking about you.
Ann, I was thinking that Debenhams and John Lewis still do bridesmaids dresses although I would think that Debenhams might be a bit cheaper than John Lewis.
Mo, I hope that S is able to get dresses for the little ones. I didn't realise that BHS had stopped selling wedding wear.
Linda, sorry to hear you have labrynthitis, I hope that it won't last too long for you.
Joyce, lovely verse, as the others have already said, it's what we all feel about Caz.
Jean, I expect you have been busy making cards. I have started to make some Christmas cards.....it's almost five months since I made any cards at all so I'm a bit slow making them, to say the least.
Lorraine if you are looking in, I hope that your operation went well and that you soon feel a lot less tired.
Well I'll say goodnight now, speak to you all tomorrow.
Take care everyone.
Love, Sallie.xxx

Hi girls and welcome to the thread Jean, I do take one day at a time, we never know whats round the next corner do we. I went to the cancer clinic yesterday and she wants me to go back on chemo, the tablets, as she said it is showing signs of being re-activated, my platelets are very low. I can't remember what else she said because she talked a lot. I am seeing her again next week but have to go for a blood test just before, hope my platelets don't drop any lower. Ann, the brave one here is you, going to the dentist is something I hate and would never go if I could get away with it. Does anyone else get jumpy legs, I have had them three days and nights now solid, I am so tired as I can't sleep for them and am wandering between kitchen and bedroom drinking tea, which is where I am going soon, cup of tea and a couple of rich tea biscuits. What do you think of the new setup on here, I find it very difficult to read so are not on for long. Going for a drink.
Love Caz xx

You are not alone ith not being able to stay on for long Caz, and they are aware, see the locked post at the top. Hopefully they are going to come up with a solution. Did you get a card from me? I dn't trust the post these days, so many things go astray. No wonder, a couple of days ago we had a letter addressed to somebody in the next rad, completely different name and number. I chased after postie and he just said 'Oh ta for that'. Quite unconcerned, no apology.

Hi Jeni, good to see you on here lovey, you know you are welcome to chat to us at any time.
Lorraine how did your op go? Were they able to sort anything out for you.
Jean you cheeky little imp, I don't need a tot or two, I need a bottle or two to get me through. lol And a woman of my tender age ahem 25, has got broad shoulders, and can take the strain, even though it doesn't seem like it. The trouble is, these broad shoulders are starting to make me stoop even more these days, I can spot a five pence piece a mile away.
Jude thanks for letting us know that Puss was home safetly. Hows the new Mum to be coping? is she suffering from morning sickness at all. I certainly don't envy her that, and I was always grateful when it passed.
Sallie, S managed to get a couple of dresses last night. The only trouble is, that the one for my ten year old grandaughter, I don't think will fit her, as she bought one for the age of an 8 year old. She said that the body size is correct, but the length may be wrong, and will probably be about two inches above her knees. Knowing Courtney, she will complain that it's to short, and that will put the cat amongst the pigeons, as S has been pulling her hair out over these darned dresses.
Ann, how did it go at the dentists today? Were your legs strong enough to carry you inside, and do you need any treatment done.
Caz my love, what can I say to you, except, stay strong and beat the bu**er, coz we all want you to do it. ( Selfish I know, but I feel so strongly about this damned Cancer) <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 Continuing our chain of love and prayers for Caz <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3
Joyce, I was soo pleased that Roly could still fit into his suit for our son's wedding at the end of the month. He had only worn it once, and that was at our 40th wedding blessing, back in2004. I got him a new shirt and tie, and thats him sorted thank goodness. I dread to think what would have happened if we had had to get him a new suit as well. He's a fuuny size now, and we would never have been able to get one off the peg as we once could. Like all of us, he has shrunk so much that his inside leg is now only a twenty six and a half, and I have to shorten all his trousers for them to fit him properly.
Well girls, I will say goodnight god bless. Take care everyone. Love Mo xxx

Joyce, I wish we still had C+A's over here. It would make things far easier having everything under one roof. If we want to buy certain things we go to Matalan, but for trousers for Roly, he has to buy them from a certain catalogue, and then I still have to shorten them for him. We both suffer from ducks disease now, and scrape our BTM's on the kerbs when we step off them. lol ;-) But just think Joyce, now he has got the new gear, he wont need to buy them again for a while. That will save on your legs for you honey. I have still got to shorten my dress for the wedding. My neighbour is going to pop in next week and pin it up for me. It's not the sort of thing you can do whilst wearing it is it. Otherwise it will end up all wonky donkey knowing my luck. Trying to buy the cotton was funny as well, getting the right shade was a nightmare, but as it's going to be right at the bottom of the dress, it wont show to much fortunately. I must remember to send my letter to Sheila tomorrow, I am getting so forgetful lately.

I can't believe that a few weeks back we went shopping for a suit for T and went into the M&S outlet shop in Glos and immediately found a suit in dark grey like he wanted that fits him, all in about 30 minutes!!!!
