Cards written, hoping to get all my wrapping done on Saturday I've got a ton of baking to do for 3 playgroup parties and I would really like to see the dining room decorated before the holidays I suppose thats something I could do during the night when I can't sleep.I used to always wish for more hours in the day and now I've hit "the change" I've found them. |

I'm guilty,I also still do a stocking for my 22year old and it's Easter eggs all round in the spring .Daughter is 31 and if she didn't get at least one selection box she'd be devastated, she even starts to eat it before breakfast! |

Watched Angels and Demons and agree it was very good, really liked Ewan McGregor as the camarlengo, don't think I've seen much of his since Trainspotting which was brilliant though very harrowing. My M.I.L. has offered to lend me Mama Mia she tells me it's a feelgood film,we shall see.Booked tickets to see Kieron Goss in St Andrews in March he doesn't tour the U.K. often last time we saw him was 2002.Also got brochure in for Celtic Connections ,1500 acts in and around Glasgow during 2nd fortnight in January, gives us somewhere to go on the dark winter nights and the tickets are all very reasonable too.I am trying a new treatment for the "CHANGE" I'll give it a couple of weeks and then report back, but after the first few days it looks promising ,fingers crossed. |

sat up 'til after 4 to finish the book. The only one of hers I didn't like was the first one "song of the humpback whale" I couldn't get into it at all, loved "My sisters keeper" and most of the rest although some can be quite predictable I've got the new Marian Keyes and the new Cecilia Aherne to read next .Got the DVD of Angels and Demons from a friend to watch later,I like Tom Hanks he's one of the better actors around these days I usually enjoy his films.I have to admit to prefering old b/w movies things like The Bishops Wife and anything with Katherine Hepburn and Spencer Tracy ,I used to have a great collection on video but when my mum was hospitalised I passed them on the geriatric ward , the residents loved them and I never had the heart to ask for them back.Sometimes I just long for a Fred Astaire film to make me smile! |

Sadly no negatives ,most of them are at least 60 years old with some of th em over 100 years old. I should probably have copied them before I sent them but as they weren't our direct "line" I didn't feel a need to have copies for myself.Looks like the relation in oz won't get to see them...shame |

I missed that. Gracie Fields was a fabulous performer, always good, lovely voice, funny, and could act too! Never missed her when she was on radio or television. |
