	I can remember when coppers looked about 7 feet tall and always looked middle aged! bus conductors with a wooden clipboard thingy filled with tickets Clippies, lady bus conductors seats in the one and nines, room for 3 standing!!! going into the pictures any time, and coming out when you reached " This is where we came in!" 	Col, You forgot to mention a Shilling for the Gas meter cause if you didn't have one you went back to the tin bath...LOL

Member Since: May 2007 Posts: 1,940 Send Message	yes the kids of to-day miss out on a lot of simple pleasures. we used to go down the local council tip looking for bike parts and pram wheels to make trollys digging about with the rats.cant do it nowadays health and safety.by the amount of old people about,didnt do us no harm

	we used to have those "jacks" came in a little bag and you had to throw them and see how many you could catch on back of your hand.
