Sainsburys give away coffee grounds from the coffee shop......use like compost to help break up soil, slugs are supposed to dislike it!

Don't mention moles.....nothing works......OH trapped his fingers in some traps in a shop (I had to release him!).....we bought a special, vile smelling liquid to pour on rags to put in their tunnels and he couldn't get the top off and spilt it all down the front of a new T shirt and ruined it. They only went after we got a molecatcher to set traps. He didn't catch even one....they just heard him arrive and scarpered.......but only ttill after he collected his traps a few weeks later!!

We had some stick things that you pushed in the ground. They were supposed to cause vibrations that the moles didn't like. Unfortunately, the manufacturers obviously hadn't come up against the Guerilla Mole strain that we had in our garden - they simply burrowed under the sticks and upended them................... Might work with your moles though, Marilyn.

Hi Dormouse,

We have tried the Vibrators........waste of money & traps,

I still think the urine one might work...I'll get hubby to drink loads of beer
maybe get them drunk and drowsy.....then they can die happy LOL
