I am hapy to be given the 'full facts'....all I saw was a nasty comment about Kitty who I believe would not intentionally hurt anyone...and what I perceived to be a nasty use of someone's surname alone . something which I have always hated and thought to be rude and ignorant!

I WAS about to post to that effect on the relevant thread but it was deleted as I tyoed (I had been out all day standing on a market stall trying to make a living so was not around to see everything that preceded it) . If people had the courage to let the threads stay up on here without constantly deleting them (same with the blogs!) then I wouldn't have HAD to post again....but I don't see any reason why I shouldn't...it was NOT done to inflame , It was done to state my opinion... based on what I HAD seen...

Seen the blog today and replied to it by email... funny how I am not treated with the same degree of respect by someone I have defended in the past on here!

With all due respect, no one on here (well with one exception) knows what my life is like, or has been...I very rarely broadcast my problems in public, because I am deeply aware that there are many whose problems are 100 times worse...

I feel sorry for people who are hounded on here and in blogs because I have been also to an extent...but I am strong enough (or bloody minded enough, take your pick) to keep coming back...if I wasn't I would just go elsewhere and stay there!

I agree with Robin on this, although I would change the word *Gang* to

*Clique*: "an exclusive circle of people with a common purpose "

And Rose does always speak her mind, but not always with the full facts.
(You admitted yourself that you missed most of what went on yesterday , even though you put up a thread which could only inflame things again)

Im sure that Kitty's thread to Cinders was put up for the best of reasons, to help, but once it turned into a free for all, to settle old scores, shouldnt it have been deleted? And then maybe Cinders would not have felt the need to delete her membership because she WAS being hounded.
So Cinders obviously upset at being called a liar, put up her own thread, and was torn apart on there.

I may be in a minority here, but I feel entitled to have my say, as I pay the same membership fee as everyone else.

Well at the end of the day, it all boils down to whether or not Rose is really 'that bothered' by what one individual thinks or what that persons opinion of her is, and I figure I know what the answer will be ................. a big fat NO !!!

We are all individuals and yes, we do tend to get into groups for various reasons.

However, being in a group of friends doesn't mean everyone has to have the same thoughts and actions or back someone up just because they are a friend when they say or do something we disapprove of.

At school the old "she can't be your friend she's my best friend" situation is quickly grown out of...................a few on here seem to have stuck at the playground stage:(

I am not a sheep and don't blindly follow without thinking through why I am going in a certain direction...............apologies to Errol!! lol

we all of us 'gravitate' towards some people that we feel comfortable with...sometimes they are in 'groups' sometimes strictly 'individual'...I just like who I like lol...

and of course as Marilyn says we are ALL in a 'gang' on here because we all came here with a common interest :)

I have just looked up *Websters Dictionary* in the States.

(gang)..People banded together for some purpose.. So that means all

on Genes in a gang...including the PERSON who accuses you..!!

I agree with Ann. I have never seen you post to cause trouble Rose.

Of course there will always be the occasions when others disagree with your point of view, and trouble sometimes arises out of that. But that is not the same thing.

However I do disagree with Ann when she says that a lot of these groups are in people's minds. ( please forgive me Ann )

They most certainly exist, I myself have been a member of various groups at various times and I have seen the sort of things that some of them get up to.

And I certainly don't feel hard done by for no longer being part of it.

Well i blame evolution - it's the pack mentality - we can't help ourselves, we're only doing what comes naturally lolol

LOL Sally , nice to know there are others like me ;) but the great thing is being able to laugh at oneself, pick yourself up, dust yourself off and start all over again lol ..which Sagittarians also manage to do :)

Rose that means that you and I are in a gang! Because I'm a Sagittarian and I fall off the heel of my trainers ever so easily and fall off kerbs like nobody's business. lol
I did a double back flip into a ditch once! I felt myself falling into it corrected too much corrected back again and ended up doing a head over heels in mid air straight in! :)

Who has assigned you to a group? Whoever told you that you have been, just try ignoring it, Rose. "They" are getting boring.

LOL McAnne ...someone's spotted me have they :) They do say that you can spot a Sagittarian because they can be walking along very elegantly ...and then fall off the kerb ... or trip over 'nothing' ;) ....which I do lol

I agree with Ann. It's mostly in people's heads because they don't get the same sort of response or the attention they crave and assume that if people are getting on well they are in a gang with each other deliberately to freeze out others.

Rose take it with a pinch of salt there are some people on here very few thankfully who just like to cause trouble, you are allowed your opinion wither people agree or not, why can't they just think before posting as it just causes upset and people to leave site, i read mostly now and if there is agruing i know where to off button is.

Rose, I have never ever seen you post to cause trouble. A lot of these so called groups or gangs are in peoples minds, which is sad because they are probably inadequate people who feel hard done by because they perceive themselves to be outside of the 'groups'. Ignore, as you would be the first to tell others!
