Hi Muffy....haven't bothered reading through rest of thread. feeling lazy this evening lol.

In response to your initial post, I just plough on regardless.....it's strange that our grandparents who eat all the bad things have survived this long. I think it is the stress of worrying about what is bad for you that is killing us off early.

Besides, if Mr Strong said they were good for you, who am I to argue? There's more sense that comes out of the Mr Men books than most of the drivel that is spouted out these days :-)

Hi Muffy. No but I'm just going to have one for lunch in this microwaveable poacher.Haven't tried it before. Will have a look for the 'Bit"!!!!!.I actually find it easier to remove when the egg is cooked.
Let us know how you get on with your egg.You will have eaten hundreds of eggs with B S's !!!!!!!!!!Keep enjoying them lol.

*shouts*HELEN !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Did you have your poached egg this morning???

Did it have a bloodspot???

I'm considering a fried egg on toast for lunch to test the theory............I'm intrigued and still a bit revolted though LOLOLOL

If it's a sign of fertilisation my chickens eggs will be fine.......if it's not then no more of my chickens eggs for me lol........*shudders*........ xx

maggiewinchester Report 11 Feb 2009 23:49

Be positive!!! I always thought a bloodspot was when the egg was fertilised. This is a good thing.
1) The chickens aren't battery - they've seen a cockerel
2) The chooks have had a bit of nooky - and enough room for said nooky
3) It's a wee bit of extra protein!
