Gillian, I am glad things are looking a bit better now and that all your family will be checked out, I had assumed this was done before but obviously not.
Let's hope the outcome is much better than you can dare to hope for with all your family and that Morris gets everything he needs to help him relax a bit and get on with his life very soon.

The test my children got after we lost Stephen, was apparently only the basic one that only shows a problem if it is active at the time, some use, but now they are going to have the in depth ones, so everything crossed. Morris has just had an ecg and awaiting the results, will keep you informed.

I am absolutely astonished that they only did the basic tests on your children after Stephens death, you came so close to losing another son, it just beggars belief doesn't it...xx

In my thoughts and prayers hun,.xx

I thought they had the only tests available but no, they should have had the in depth ones like my sisters kids did, must depend where you live ot if you are private or not. Sad really, people have to go through all this to get the tests they need to keep them alive. To think Morris died and they bought him back is frightening when you think they never managed that with Stephen, so but for the grace of God, I could have lost another Son. Hopefully these tests will become more available, we will have to wait and see. Problem I have now is they cannot test Morris until his heart is stable, so the others will not get tested until then, as I believe they will do a group testing.

Gillian, what a scandalous situation that the in depth tests weren't done - I would be spitting feathers if I were you, bet you are anyway, but hope all goes well, maybe you can push for the tests to be done as quickly as possible with the threat that if not and anything happens, heaven forbid, you will sue the pants of them! Get your MP behind you on this one asap.

Hope Morris' tests come out ok, and he is soon back on his feet.
Hugs to you and yours.

Morris is being allowed home, with strict instructions on diet etc. They cannot test him for SADS until the inflamation on his heart has gone, he is on a course of tablets to do this. They are happy with his latest ECG results which are not normal but stable enough. They will not be able to get a normal reading until the tablets take down the inflamtion. He is to be tested for SADS in six weeks along with my other children. This will be a scary time leading up to these tests in case anything happens to him in the mean time, we must put our trust in God, and wait XX Thank you all for your kindness, which helped me loads XX Bless you all XX..
