Dad's still with us, no news is good news as they say (touches wood, e.g. head!)

Just wondering if the Dutch settled in North America, that could be where the clog dancing comes in perhaps?

Katty, apparently clog dancing developed in the industrial areas of England and Scotland, then declined. Became popular again, there is a link with the Appalachian Mountains in North America.

My mother was part Irish too. In fact between us, we can fly the flag ... one of my brothers wives father is Welsh, ooh, luvin it!

Clogging....I thought came from the dutch.

Alexander Brothers.......as I grew up my dad used to play them...not sure if he still does...need to ask him.
