OOOh, Uggers me darlin', I have spent far more than is sensible. If Monmouthshire and Brecknock had been available I'd be in even more bother than I'm going to be when the credit card bill arrives. |

Susan has the right approach, once its been around for a while & comes into the realm at a much cheaper price. Then it just becomes another tool to use. |

I think so too, Susan. The trouble is some of the mysteries will never be solved because there are no records telling personal tales only facts and figures. |

Do you remember the excitement of the 1901 census launch, when we (I) thought it would be the answer to all our prayers?.....methinks this one will be the same once we get over it...more questions than answers. :-( |

If I get Essex then I will know if great Gran M. was in Woodford where they were in 1901 but it still doesn't answer why they aren't together. Found two rellies in Alan's family visiting family in London which I think will start to tie his Essex M's with the London M's - something I haven't been able to do. Can't wait for Yorkshire - it will hopefully open up new families for ancestors who married after the 1901 census. I also want to know if my paternal great grandfather remarried after his wife died in 1909. |

Hello Sue:) I think I have moaned about this already on here but my gg grandmother is claiming she has been married 20 years (her eldest is 42) and that she is a widow - can't find a marriage for them and I'm sure her old man is in the workhouse and doesn't die for another 2 years:) So it doesn't solve all I wanted it too:) |

Hello, Uggs. :))) I have now got a mystery with Alan's family. Why was his great grandad living as a lodger in Croydon where he died 18 years later and not with his wife and family? When he died in '29 his missus married 3 months later. I NEED Essex and Wst. Yorkshire!!!!!! |
