Morning All,

How is everyone today ?
Its lovely and sunny, got my friend coming this afternoon as I have traced her family for her....she's so excited !

Got Scone 's jam and Devon clotted cream on the patio this afternoon

Thats a pity Rita that you canceled your Norfolk holiday, maybe it was the right thing to do after all. never mind there will be another time.

Baby sitting tonight haven't seen the little darling since they went back to school.
Hubby had an e-mail from my eldest grandson to say there is a school trip to USA next April and he would love to go.........now that means one
thing ...GUESS ?

So I'm off for a while to paint my nails ....LOL

Marilyn if it is not red nail polish you can do mine as well but I like the pale pinks.
well my letter has arrived and so has my temper the letter said I need to get my next test done on 23rd and guess what I will be here in my flat from 21st onwards. they said my blood reading was at risk and guess what it was only one higher than last week.
so I could have gone away.
I tried phoning the doctors to make an appointment for the test 14 tries left 5 call backs nothing get through and she ask could I hold on while she looked for the Inr book to give me a time 10 minutes afterwards she had found it. I could hear her in the back ground talking to people waiting to see the docters then told one of the others had the book and she had to wait 5 minutes afterwards hurrah book in hand. but she had to get me to wait as she had a private conversation with one of the patients again I am waiting for her. then she had the book and checked the times and found it for me.

well I can do with a cup of tea and one of Marilyns scones.

Hi ladies
Just back from M&S.................. Oops. Well I got the undies and was measured for the bra for the very first time. Never ever had that done before...................... lets see if it makes them any more comfortable, I sure hope so.
Also got some trousers, some nice smellies and my organiser calendar, so I know where I should be even when I get it wrong. Anyone else have to write everything down.
Well hubby decided to do Tesco's on his own................... big mistake. If anyone (other than Sue) has been to the big Tesco at Sandhurst/ Camberly they will know how big it is. Well he got all the shopping and was waiting to pay, he came over quite unwell(as he described it) I think he nearly fainted. Couldn't find his wallet, couldn't remember my mobile number, did he ever know it? Luckily he recovered once outside found the car and rested for a few minutes before seeing if he could find me. Actually I was going to the car to find him. He won't carry a mobile, doesn't need one. So I insisted we had a coffee, sweet for him and he had a scone too, incase his sugar levels had dropped. Back home he is fine sitting in the sun and resting and just had lunch to keep his energy levels up. Actually he's also run the mower over to pick up the dropping leaves. So he must be OK.

Oh well going to do some knitting and maybe read a new book too. Can't see us going anywhere later eh?
Rita so sorry you cancelled the holiday, but you and your daughter will probably feel happier close to home and you can pop in on the cemetary. My nephew has started a petition on face book to save Cherry Lane and has the local MP joined up too.

Take care one and all

Linda :o) XxX

Marilyn
how convienet that we are all far away from you we were going to come and finish up the BQ food you had left over..mY nail polish
Matches your top. what is that you face cecause you have spent so much time sun bathing ? or your shirt.

Linda your poor husband he must have felt bad hope he is soon feeling better. I have felt ill like that when I am in a place full of shoppers and they whizz by me all the time makes me feel quiet giddy.my sister is the same.

she comes back from Spain late this evening she will be surprised I am not going to Norfolk,
.
still if the weather is not too good my daughter and I can find lots to do might even try and get into a show in town.

I need to buy a new wall clock now the one my scouts gave me when I left the group to move to Norfolk has finally pack up changed the batteries three times thinking perhaps they were at Faul;t but no luck so I am going to try and get one almost the same. its about 30 years since they gave me that one. so it has done well.

Shelly and Lady I hope it has been worth your while staying up did you get anything helpful show up.
I have a problem using my computer at night as it is the corner of my sitting room and the light is in the centre of the room so it is hard to see the keyboard hence my missing a lot of the keys .I brought a desk light but its reflection was too much I could not see for the brightness flashing on the key board.

Hi Ladies
You might miss me in the morning. Sorted a couple of days away. Thanks to Jude, on another thread she mentioned a show at Usk, Monmothshire. Well we both love it there and have been before on day trips...................... long drive for hubby !!! Managed to get a B&B overnight sat, so we will be back late on Sunday.
He sleeping like a baby now, must have exhausted himself or was it the wine with dinner(him not me)
Best wishes to Ollie, my niece had to go back to hospital nearly 13 yrs ago as she was jaundiced , she soon went home after though.
Hope Ollie is back with his Nan very soon.
Rita enjoy your stay with your daughter.

Usk is a lovely place & easy to get to, off M4 at J24 then dual carriageway for about 10/12 miles, off slip road & your there.
