think most people are come on sunday thay no i dont like them comeing on the day you come home as this was the rule when i had mine so i think thay have stuck to it as some have phone and say thay will leve it till then
only my some and his girl friend will be her soon for when i pick her up and bring her and babby olly home

Glad the Rat is no longer with us....but did you ever find out how it got in to in the house ? I would be looking for holes now... with me cement to block any holes !! LOL

My Granddaughter who lives in Dorset is engaged to an Oliver and he is known as Ollie. I love that name.

I have been busy today having to sit down as I have once again hurt my foot the same one I hurt in July when I was going on holiday to Devon. this time I am due to go to Norfolk on 12th . do you think I should not go on holiday as this is happening all the time now.?
I am using a walking stick to get about so today I sorted out my photos albums I had ten of them large and small i have now got them in 3 large ones. looking at the old photo thees have given me a laugh they date back to 1947.

my next door neighbour in Caister Norfolk had a large Rat in her bungalow and asked me what she should do I told her phone the council. they came and found it under her fridge in her extention and she said she didnt know where it had come from she had searched her Bungalow. The men did a search and found it had cgme from the House at the back and had got into her Bungalow through the door to the extension they traced it. she said I only left the door open for a minute when I was sorting my dustbins out. and he said that is all it takes so she was so careful next time and she owned a little dog. you would have thought that would have given the Rat second thoughts.

Well today flew by, did I achieve? I think so. Washing done and dried, one basket ironed, another basket to tackle in the morning, including work shirts.
Gardening a little, cut the front and side grass also pruned some shrubs including Budlia and the roses.
Knitting half a cardigan knitted.
Invitations another one on the pile finished.
Oh I also put teak oil on our anniversary bench(given to us for our 25th anniversary(how can that really be 11 years ago !! ) Table and chairs to do tomorrow. And bamboo to cut back before the green collection on Monday morning.

Enjoy the rest of your evening ladies. Guessing Sue is OK though it is definately colder now and dark too, bring back summmer I don't like winter.

you have given me a headache after reading all your jobs you did this afternoon you must be exhausted ?funny how sometimes you can do a lot of work and another feel too tired too or put them off till the next day.

I have acheive a lot consider I am limping but all the jobs I have managed are me sitting down. I just took the elastic ankle/foot stocking off and it was a job to get off but I could not sleep with that on tonight not that I sleep well but it would be even less.

have a nice day tomorrow and try and have a rest.

I hope your ankle soon feels much better. When Mum was here I had to put her support stockings on and they were really difficult. Not too comfortable either.
I guess I am on a guilt trip as the jobs are done in betweeen my messing around on the internet while my husband is at work. I am begining to hate his shift work. Especially as I only have the one little girl 2 days a week now. Almost redundant......................... except no redundancy payment.

Try to do another invite tonight.

Linda my typing jumps as well I have tried everything but no luck so I supose I will have to grin and bare it ? I had hoped that when the take over came they would do something about it as it must be their system that has gone astray.

mine is not a support stocking but an ankle support my daughter brought it for me when I did have the same trouble and I was staying with her.they are not cheap either I was surprised when I saw them in the chemist shop and saw the price.,

I am off to make my Horlick now and watch a little TV I want to do some typing tomorrow try to do a few more pages of my Dads memories he wrote out I am still working on mine but want to finish Dads first./

Had trouble getting online this morning so I had to shut it all off and start fresh. Then it was OK.
Bit dull here at the moment, hope it brightens up later, need to get out and clear some more plants. If not I have that ironing to tackle.

Where is everybody?

Linda I too had trouble logging on just a few minutes ago,
I had to sign in (I dont have to do this too often but just now I did ) and they would not accept my password I must have tried at leat 10 times then it accepted it. I wonder how many more people have had this happen this morning.

It is quiet cold here but bright so I suppose that is somthing. I have to make a few phone calls shortly .

I suppose I had better make a cuppa before I do. Linda's is a bit cold and I like my tea fairly hot. but thanks Linda.

I wondered what had happened to Lady ? perhaps she is having a break as she was work long hours while her boss was away.

made three phones calls this morning and everyone was out. I was surprised at that I thought at least one would be home.

I am just recharging my camera batteries ready to take to my daughters on saturday .

I have been up since 9 30 am but lappy would not let me in..!!

It just started to freeze on me ,I nearly told hubby to get rid of it ...has its beginning to freeze all the time now.

So hubby said your too inpatient with it ,you want to type before you hit the keys !! LOL

Now its at last a lovely day....so washing is on the line and I'm just telling you all I'm out for Sunday dinner Yippiiiiii !!

So I'm taking things really easy while I have the whip out to hubby .he is painting my lounge as I told him it is looking a bit grubby, that's it he makes a dive to the garage for the paint....so well trained....or is it me too bossy ..LOL

I think he is trying to keep you quiet and get some peace and the only way he can do that is shut hiself in a room and paint.
Poor guy.

Well Shelly, did our little Olly sleep well on his first night home?

Evening all
Well managed to cut back a chunk of the jungle. Hope the bin men don't get prickled in the morning.

Done a spring clean in the lounge, means moving everything out so changed the furniture round away from the radiators ready for when we need to put them on again.

Oh cleaned the fish tank filter too, a job I hate as I usually get a rash on my hands. But hubby hasn't tackled it, so for their health it's been done.

Youngest and fiancee came for a BBQ supper and they are all outside now burning twigs in the incerator, and getting rid of bank statements too.

Think Sue might be travelling back tomorrow. Hope she had a good time.

Glad you had a win at bingo Mo. I agree you should have a treat after your trauma.
