I think Mo's rats have come here!! On Saturday morning, whilst I was hanging out some washing, Dove kept looking at one particular place. When I looked I discovered some holes going underneath the patio!! We have now purchased some 'food' for them!!!

Lady, I hope the food works better for you than it is for Mo. It might not be rats but it's best to be on the safe side.

No baby yet, still in early labour.....such memories !!

Poor Shelly don't like her lappy at the moment, its not responding to her needs.....she's getting withdrawal symptoms.
Just as well she's at the hospital all day.....

Now dont know what to do today....got no kids,........ so I'm free..........If I go to the shops I'll buy something that I don't really want, the garden I have gone off of because all my flowers have nearly died. Washing all on the line ironing done this morning.
So think I'll sit all day on lappy !!

Update......

No baby yet ......2 centimeters dilated, that 's all the news for now.

She's sitting up happy as Larry in bed........god if only she knew whats to come ......first baby !!

Shelly I think this is going to be a long one as well.

thanks for the update on the baby Marilyn, I'm wearing the carpet out pacing up and down lol. Got the hot water and towels ready!!

Hope those rats aren't spreading, had some in the gaarden a few years ago when we had an old wooden shed, council came out and put down poison a couple of times and we got rid of the shed, we haven't had any since, fingers crossed.

I s'pose Sue has already left for Dorset, I hope she has a good time

Just been for a walk on the cliff edge, it was very blowy , but lovely to see the Ocean and all the yachts sailing.

I am back bit tired as I did a lot of walking around London they have lots of things going on at the South Bank and there were lots of tourist. I did find out about the Electoral Registers. they are at the British Library in Euston London. They have them from 1919 to 1926 two Rgeisters, and from 1945 to 1946 two .The Parilamentary Elections were first required in 1832 If you use the registers at the British Library you have to get a readers ticket you have to give them proof of who you are.

we didnt get there till late so didnt managed to go in.

I also have managed to get hold of my father Autopbiograph he died in 2001 aged 92. he had typed out around 100 pages bless him I was interested in his life as a boy in 1908 onwards and found lots of things about my Grandfather who was in the Royal Dragoons it appears he tried to enlist again when the war broke out but was turned down due to trench feet he smoked a long pipe which also surprised me. I have scribbled about 30 pages of it and intend to type it out, the other pages were about Dads work he was a master builder and built Hotels and big houses in the city so I was not interested in that only readiong what he had done but for futrue reference I thought I would do his growing up.

Nice to have you back Rita, sounds like you've been busy. Who had your dad's autobiography? I wish someone in my family had written an autobiography. I know there's a family bible somewhere with family info going back a couple of hundred years, but whoever has it wont own up. All I want to do is copy info from it but the person who took is it keep tight lipped about it.
