Morning all

Yvonne you have said it all rubbish I use to like the Saturday and Sunday programmes but the stations keep putting on old repeats and they show you them over and over again B?W films as well. for something to do I counted the Repeats and there were 44 over the five stations.
I am just having a cup of tea and a ginger biscuit I only had one . it is so quiet here I wish we had a bus service on a sunday I could go for a ride. I like doing that.
when I lived in Norfolk I use to go out every sunday morning to boot sales I use to buy lots of books and plants . I wonder if they stuill have them ? it seems more and more charity shops are opening so I suppose the boot sales are few and far between now.

Have a nice day

Love
Rita

Morning all especially Rita up first

Cuppa before I start

(**)? (**)? (**)? (**)?(**)? (**)? (**)? {**}?(**)? (**)? [**]

Hubby has gone to work. Damp here, nopefully it will dry up later and I shall try to cut the grass.

Nothing planned for today, so far.

TV is dire, especially at the weekend. Don't get Sky Rita.......................... that mainly repeats from other channels, especially BBC.

Enjoy whatever you do today everyone.

Morning all, thanks for the cuppa Linda, you've made loads so I might have 2.

It's very dull here today, hope it doesn't rain I want to get the bedding out.

Lady, I think most of us have Ancestry, so there'll always be someone on here to do a look-up if you get stuck.

Did you enjoy your day out Shelly?

Think I'll watch a DVD while I wait for my son to get up.

I have just had my breakfast a Banana and another cuppa.
I want to go across the shop when Waitrose open and post a letter as well.
It was bright and sunny when I go up but it is dismal here as well now. where has all that sunshine gone ? across the sea I bet.

Morning all you ladies.

Thanks Yvonne & Pauline for the look up offer but i contacted shelly.
Now another question.
IF(thats a big if) I decided to become an ancestry member, is it better to pay monthly which gives me the option to cancel after a couple of months (if I wish) or do the annual subscription. Also it says I can view census & indexs, does this cost extra like it does on GR (50 credits for a fiver??)?

Lady, on Ancestry it's all in with the price, you can view as many indexes and census as you like. They had an offer on a while ago for half price membership, don't know if it's still on though. Not sure if you would be better off with monthly or annual but you probably wont want to cancel once you join.

Back again
Well I have managed to cut all the front grass and cut down some bamboo too. Wonder if hubby will notice?

The research went well yesterday and this morning pity it's extended family. But I found a strange connection.............................. My fathers brothers wife(Aunty in law I guess) has the same family Edlin way back as my sisters husbands family !!! According to FTM they are 4th cousins !!

Oh well more searching to do.

Lunch to make and eat............. who knows what don't really fancy much. Pork for dinner tonight. Hubby due home around 3:30.

Linda that was strange i found when I first started my family research that one of my Great Great Uncles Silas Horwood married Hannah Offord and in the next generation Henry Horwood married after his wife died a widow and she turned out to be the sister of Silas wife.

Sue are they in your family ?

I had a morning that turned out different to what I expected. my younger son arrived spent a couple of hour with me then took me to do my shopping in his car . then my daughter phoned to say she was in Uxbridge and had seen a nice suitcase on wheels for me which had been reduced by £40 so she got it. my one is very old and the handle rattles so I have a new suitcase.

I brought a chicken for my dinner on Saturday so it is cooking in my oven it will do me for three days.
must go and baste my chicken while I remember.

I put a thread out for knitted bird coats I thought people might think I was mad, but I was surprised how kind people have been giving me some website. while I lived in Norfolk we had an appeal go out for kitted coats for the sea gulls and others who had been rescured but RSPCB and they had to get all the oil out of their feathers and so it took the oil out of their natural bodies . so we knitted loads of coats for these poor birds. and I had a pattern but have looked verywhere for it seem to have lost it. so I asked if anyone had one .
so I must take a look in a moment at obne of the site.s
