Sorry to see you go Kitty, but I know exactly how you feel, although I do tend to miss most of the nastiness on here.
At one time this site was my first port-of-call, but not these days.

Take care and I hope you do decide to come back here sometime.

Shame you are going Kitty, and yet again altho I know you say the boards don't help you relax, by going you are letting the rotten apples ruin the whole barrel. Yes there are unpleasant snide remarks made sometimes and also unpleasant threads but I usually glance at them and if they look as if they are not good threads to read, I ignore them.
Soon all the people who don't do unkind, will have backed off, good thing real life is not like that or we would all live in downtrodden countries with no hope.
I think if I were feeling that way, I would just say au revoir for a month and come back to see how things are, when you have maybe missed everyone enough and been missed to know that your contributions here are valuable and help keep life cheerful for many people.
I have stuck around for nearly 4 years now and will try not to desert what is rapidly looking like a listing ship, not sinking yet but it will do if we can't keep the balance level.

Thought I'd take a break( from upheaval at home),and come to see who is here to chat to.
I'm now so sad to hear your news Kitty and think it's a crying shame you feel the need to leave.Though I do understand as I too have felt there is a distinctly cold feeling on the boards now and members seem afraid to post! WHY?

There are some sick folk on GR who like to dominate threads,but sadly do not contribute anything worthwhile,but like to stir,and I for one like you Kitty just click off.

There should be all kinds of topics to debate, supportive threads, fun and games........kindness, I loved when we all met on the farm for the lambing :O)

We will miss you Kitty and hope you come back very soon, hope your family are doing well.

Kitty, I am sorry to see you go, and sorry to see that they who want to bring the boards down are slowly winning. However, I am a bit puzzled because i thought the past week had been fine, haven't seen much nastiness at all except for one thread on chat last night. maybe it all happens overnight which is why I don't see it. Or maybe I live in my own little dream world here.
