Up here in the north Warwicks the small farmers seem to be doing pretty well, Rosalind. My friend's family farm is thriving (her husband always pulls over - lol). They've diversified into livery and have a farm shop which certainly keeps the wolf from the door. |

I'm also Warwickshire born and bred , but no way could I afford to live there now, most of the farmers have sold up or just given up farming themselves and let the land out. |

Around here in Warwickshire it's farmers, Rosalind. I was born and brought up in farming country and some of them in these parts are very inconsiderate. |

The road Jen and I are talking about is the main A road from Aberystwyth to Cardigan. It's a very busy road, not a country lane. There are laybys all the way along it but sometimes you can follow a convoy of 2 or 3 council tractors travelling up hill for miles, passing several laybys along the way. |

My point exactly Rosalind. I said before, it's not like they are stuck behind them on the M4 all the way from London to Bristol. It's a couple of miles. |

My son in law takes my grandaughter to school in his tractor sometimes and is more considerate in his driving than some of the woman in there 4x4s who seem to think that the world stops for the school run , and while we are at it I agree with the sentiments of others that if people want second homes out in the country then get used to the kin life style that go's with it , cos the young 'uns who have grown up there would love to be able to afford to stay there and enjoy that life style. |
