Hi everybody,, Gillie I've been going to the gym and following a diet, I have lost weight more slowly than in the past, but I've lost inches more quickly and my fat % has dropped more quickly..
So I figure I'm gaining muscle which weighs more than fat, but takes up less space. Muscle also burns more calories than fat, keep it up I'm sure you'll benefit eventually, I was told it takes 6 weeks before you really notice the difference from gym work and then it sprints away..xx

Angel - well done - not a recommended way to lose though I'm sure.

Hope you keep motivated to lose some more.

In the last year I have lost 3 stone - but it has nearly ground to a halt now :-( Only lost 1/2lb in 4 weeks.

I have gone down 2 dress sizes so it had to be a new wardrobe this summer :-)

Hi folks, never seen the previous thread but I just thought I would like to tell you about my 2 stone weight loss. In late March I got food poisioning and lost 3/4 of a stone. I then managed to break my ankle on April 17 and the pain killers they gave me also killed my appetite, so since then I have lost a further one and a quatre stone.
I need to lose quite a bit more mind so the weight loss is welcome. Trouble is all my clothes are now too big.

I lost 1 1/2 pounds last week....I am almost at the two stone mark but I still have loads to loose. I am going on hols 4th July so I will probably put on a couple of pounds again. Not to worry.......Keep it up all you slimmers
