Weigh Day. Down another 2.5lbs and another 1" on my waist...
I had to throw some knickers away yesterday, they were TOO BIG and kept edging down...whoooohoooo.

Well done Gillie - keep it off :-)

Never heard the term Apron tum before though!

Mrs. Blue Eyes Report 28 Jul 2008 09:46

Brilliant Gillie, they say slow and steady keeps it off,
I can relate to the apron tum, it grows when you lose some weight, then shrinks some as the skin shrinks, then grows when etc etc.

Thanks for the explanation Gillie :-)

If I breathe in mine doesn't look so big :-)

Mind you I don't think 2 c sections have helped - thats my excuse!
If I went under the knife I'd have to have it reduced both sides - front & back :-)

0.5lb this week, 1/2" all over. Not as much as I'd like but I've lost something every week since I began.

So where are my fellow dieters? cause I don't wanna be the only one on here..

Mrs. Blue Eyes

Mrs. Blue Eyes Report 10 Aug 2008 11:30

Yah I'm not alone,That's brilliant Gillie you haven't gained, don't be disheartened you're looking for a long term solution not a short term fix, as the weight didn't go on overnight so it won't come off overnight either.. (pumping myself too lol)
Even if someone gains put it on here so's we can support and encourage
I have a dress that I bought just before I started dieting and that's my benchmark, I try it on once a week and when I'm wavering, because it shows me how far I've come already, I also have a dress that is a little too small for me and I try that on also to see how much closer I am.
Keep it up guys

xx

I bought a pair of jeans 4 weeks ago that now fall down.
Also I bought a pair of size 14 jeans just before I went on holiday which are now too big.

Sorry Gillie missed your post, WELL DONE on the weight loss that's great achievement, I'm sorry you're feeling so grotty I hope you feel better soon.
I think a BMI of under 30 is in the overweight catagory but out of the obese, yesss another milestone..
Those leather trousers are another step nearer

I have been on a diet since end of may, and visit the doctors every couple of weeks, to get weighed.
I went yesterday and since end of may, have lost 1 stone, 9 pounds, it's slow - but at least it is comming off.
I did have 2 occasions where I put on a little, but it's going slowlyh.

Good luck to you all.

Well done Liz - I am losing mine slowly too. My theory is if it will come off slowly it will (if it does go back at all ) go back on slowly :-)
