Gawd missus, I wish you lived nearer. The weather's pluddy awful here as well, but it could be worse I suppose (but don't quote me on that lol).
Oh - and consider yer ear clipped for saying you're fat. YOU'RE NOT!!!!! (Yes, shouting now lol). You have a healthy build, OK? Good!

McAnne's Gahan-Crazy Report 28 May 2008 17:41

Thanks all .............

I ended up coming home an hour early - pointless sitting there blubbing all over my desk and getting nothing done.

Initially i thought it was a bad idea cos all the cats kicked off when i got in (rainy days = hyperactive housebound cats grrr) and they got bellowed at which made me feel worse cos i hate shouting at them - it's not their fault.

I feel less tearfull now - just tired and subdued - think hormones have been leaping around too which hasn't helped :O(

But thank you all again for your kind words and hugs - they're all very much appreciated :O) xxx

**spoke too soon - tears are back**

Hi Anita

I am sure that this horrible dark gloomy wet weather today has dragged everyones spirits down. we need the sun back again. Anita, sorry that you are having a bad time lots of ((((((hugs)))))) for you. As for there being people worse off, well so they may be but, as we only feel our own pain while knowing others suffer even worse pain, so we only feel our own depression with our world. I hope coming on here and knowing you have lots of good virtual friends is a help in some way.

Why don't you make yourself approach your friend and ask if she was serious about her husband doing the kitchen or has something come up to prevent it. You could also say that you don't actually expect something for nothing and are prepared to pay £???? whatever you were going to pay before she offered a freebie. write it if it is easier, or e mail if you e mail each other. You will at least know where you stand then. It is the not knowing that is making you feel so down, that added to the disappointment of not moving. I would be inclined to go back to the doctor if you don't feel better soon.

And your Mother is being selfish, although she probably is just insensitive. Maybe once she has visited your brother she will change her mind. It must be tempting to ask her which home she'd prefer later on!!!!

Speaking about homes (as BC was) and children. When we were visiting my father in a home seven years ago my daughter told me when I got like the people in there she was taking me to the vet!!! I think she was joking!!

Hugs for all:-))) I think the grey, miserable, rainy, old weather has a lot to do with our moods. If the sun was shining and you were in the garden in your best bikini, Anita, you would be feeling so much better! Everyone feels alone at times, even if we are surrounded. BC XX
