I agree - I have thought that myself in the past. Fortunatly very few people have made contact with me about me tree and three of the four that have turned out to be genuinley related to me.

Yes totally agree with having to tick a box if you want/need to open your tree.

Me too!.... lost count of the number of times I have had to let people know they have accidently opened their tree to me.

My vote too.

If someone is a contact then you can give permission if you wish or when they request it.

It used to be that way back in the beginning!! LOL

I have asked for this to be re-instated previously but it fell on deaf ears!

Let's pester them until they do something about it!
It's a small change and wouldn't make any difference to them but could make life so much pleasanter for us.

We are the paying customers after all.

I have to agree with you, I think this has been said before but sadly as usual they do not listen to their members, if you are new you do not know that you untick the box, many a times peeps have opened their tree to me.

Yes Sue, i also agree, its so easy to forget to untick, i have had other peoples trees open for me and they only asked a question to see if we are related, i am honest and dont look and mail them...but i want to tick when i want to open mine ....come on genes you know it makes sence.....Joanie
