Depends on the individual.

My OH occasionally ears a small stud in his ear.

It keeps him happy.....and he is 50 plus! lol

Rose

Rose Report 28 Mar 2008 22:57

no not really it is up to them
im biased lol
my OH still has one in had it since he was young
he might take it out one day , and he might go in it
does not bother me one way or the other

Have never worn an ear ring, a wedding ring is one ring to many anyway!

A matter of choice, but I don't mind seeing them...as long as they aren't Pat butcher types. :o))

I watched Grumpy on Teenagers this week... and how right the grumpies are (I'm one)... fashion has been there done it. Youngsters don't have the monopoly on such things anymore.

Uggers

Uggers Report 28 Mar 2008 23:01

Oh yeh Carrie I agree with that lol

********* Pat:)))))))))

Lanarkshire lassie, I usually wear two rings but not had them in for a week or two. But I ain't 50+ yet:)

That's what I'm getting a bit like, Rose:)

Lynda, I had a mate who has nipples done years ago and I'll have to ask him if he still has them:) There's no way I would have them anywhere else but in my ears cos I don't like pain and I'd be worried about them catching:))))

Some older men look good with an earring. Anthony Stewart Head comes to mind. I don't mind a man wearing an earring as long as it's not over done and it's only one ear as I think men look daft with both ears done.

I like ear piercings but am not a fan of facial piercings on either men or women.

Uggers

Uggers Report 28 Mar 2008 23:09

yeh I know Pat:))) Shouldn't you be getting an early night:)

Oh SS, I have got two:((

~Summer Scribe~

~Summer Scribe~ Report 28 Mar 2008 23:12

Just basing it off my brother really Uggers. He's had many phases with his piercings at one point he had about ten in one ear and one in the other. That looked ok. I think maybe it's the symmetry that bothers me about one in each ear. Possibly if a stud in one ear and two or three in the other... of course all bets are off if it's one at the top of the ear as they tend to make me melt...whether one or both ears LOL.

Are we talking about studs or hoops though with your two?

Have to admit, I have had an "elsewhere" piercing ;-)

Oh, Pat, I'm excited for you, I hope you have a great day, I wouldn't be able to sleep either. Not that I'm ever likely to marry :-(
