I have Durham, N Yorks and NW Yorks (Dales) ancestry. But I still acnnot understand their lingo yet I have their blood pumping through my arteries. I do know that "Nowt" means nothing. Coronation Street taught me that.

I just read that the area of the Dales where my Mason ancies (new abbrev for ancestors) lived was 1st inhabitied by Irish Norse tribes from the 9th centruy onwards. That means there is a strong chance that I have distant Irish rellies.

Now LPD......if youcall at the chippy on your way home after the match....fish and chip shop.....try chips and gravy in the tray eatten with lots of salt and vinegar......(sp) ,,,,,must beeatten out the tray whist you are walking down the road....wwith a plastic fork...
