I think one of the Waspe's married a Lemon thats why I posted the family with Lemon in the name and using it for a first name as well.

I suppose we will never know - unless we carry on researching this unusual name.

Well we will see what "Teacher" brings up tomorrow SS LOL.

Thank goodness for that... I was getting a little obsessed with trying to find children lol

We didn't find where the Lemon came from, but I guess it doesn't need to make sense...could have been a best friend or something.

There's a male Baker married a Waspe but only the one female:

Name: Mabel E Baker
Year of Registration: 1923
Quarter of Registration: Jan-Feb-Mar
Spouse's Surname: Waspe
District: Ipswich
County: Suffolk
Volume: 4a

married our Lemon.

Could this be rellies - I wonder. It would explain the Lemon as the first name and as it looks like a foreign name the same applies to yestersdays name as it could have been Leiman or Leeman (with accents etc).
