today i was doing some washing and asked my husband for any jeans he wanted me to wash. He gave me his work jeans so i put them on a 60 degree wash, then put them inthe dryer
I thought the dryer was making a banging noise for some reason but hey its an old dryer its allowed to have a bang now and again lol
on taking out the dried washing i found a very clean mobile phone
it works to send and recieve calls but you cant see the screen on it
apparently its my fault for not checking pockets in his dreams
he is 61 years old i am not his mother or his maid he is responsible for his own pockets bet he dosnt do it again

Both, Jackie, both! Absolutely useless aren't they?

Mine has a problem with zips, I can't tell you how many jackets he has ruined or other clothes cos he gets the zips jammed and then tugs them so hard in temper, that they break or he rips the clothes. He always manages to spill food down his front, he is worse than a kid!

Does your o.h. work somewhere really mucky? 60 degrees is high for clothing!

my eldest daughters husband asked her last week if he could buy a particular t shirt cost about £80 she said certainly not its a waste of money (said she felt like his mum saying no to a child) that week he went out and bought a lexus for £27000 without asking lol
she is most upset that he valued her opinion on a t shirt but didnt want it on the car.

Robin I am in charge of the washer and dryer but he is in charge of sorting his clothes to be washed
because he pretends he cant understand how either machine works (cop out)
Liz it will probably take him about 3 months unless he can get the same model

Jackie, that was out of order, of your son in law! Is she allowed to go out and be as extravagant?

I shall, of course, ignore the merciless and highly provocative baiting of my old adversary Rose ............. and pray that none of the fair minded folk of this site rush off to GR with their complaints.

But let me just get this straight !

Here is a woman who, by her own admission, sways Lord and Master over all that comprises as the latest technology in laundry in the modern household.

She has the final say on what goes in ........ and what comes out !

She has the ultimate responsibility for the wellbeing of those machines that have transformed her responsibilities to a life of luxury.

Correct me if I'm wrong ..................... but should she not be checking his pockets ?

( Just asking )

Jackie

Jackie Report 10 Feb 2008 02:48

if i thought that he had left money in i would most definatly be checking his pockets
but bits of tissue biscuit wrappers sweet wrappers and mobile phones are not an my todo list
sorry if this is upsetting for either my oh or you sir Robin but lifes a bitch and then you die lol
